A matching pair of hand-painted porcelain tokkuri sake bottles,crafted in Japan in the 19th century.Each bottle features sometsuke underglaze cobalt blue decoration in two views.Stylized flowers and bamboo ,both faces with geometric bands at the neck and base.The tall cylindrical form,flared rim and creamy white glaze are characteristic of 19th century japanese kilns.Natural wear and glaze confirm age. Good condition with espected age-related wear with minor glaze crazing.For collection or display.
