Original Thai Buddhist sculpture,Rattanakosin period 19th century. Hand-carved wood with original red laquer and gilded. size about 57 cm height and about 15 cm wide .Never restored, untouched condition.Depicts Buddha in Abhayamudra with both hands raised in the gesture of fearlessness and protection.Serene facial attitude. The buddha is in finely draped robe typical of the period. Set on base,traditional 5-tiered base with original wooden construction. Buddha and base are separable asa made for temple transport. Good condition with original wood red laquer and gold leaf. With a stable structure with natural age patina unrestored
