This is a good Meiji hata banner flag. Size 87 cm height and 47 cm wide .Material tsumugi silk, wild silk with natural slubs.

Reserved for high-ranking samurai or temple. With the kamon derived from the maru ni hishi.

Geometric mon used by multiple period samurai families and vassal houses.It was made with natural indigo dye, hand-stencilled.

Soft fading consistent with natural dye.Natural age patina no repairs.Silk remains supple with light luster area and aizome indigo.
