Russet iron suji kabuto from the Edo period 1603-1868

This is a strong and martial hoshi-bachi kabuto Samurai made for battle .

Museum quality with documented papers of the NKBKHK as important special material , Tokubetsu Kicho Shiryo .Authentification collector grade signed by the maker Shigeie ,dated by the NKBKHK in the midle of the Edo period : 1680-1750 . A signed kabuto by this Myochin katchushi.

This rare kabuto was made with 12 plates in russet iron ,with interesting features fukigaeshi , shikoro shape with blue odoshi and gilded inside,testimony of a special command or the rank of the owner. The mabisashi is secured by 3 big domed byo . The hachi shape is superb and the tehen no kanamono or hachimanza is composed of 5 levels and gilded . The hachi is cover with hoshi /ball hand forged ,they are rare elements . Two mantras on the fukigaeshi .

included an antique small sword of Fudo-Myoo as maedate ,a logic association on this kabuto and a protection .
