Sashimono samurai back banner made in the last part of the Edo period. Cotton construction, hand-woven flag dyed with natural indigo. This indigo, is called indigo aizome and was made traditionaly in Japan. Complete and in a good state with authentic patina. This sashimono featuring a white hinomaru sun disc and diagonal stripe, with 8 originals leather /nerikawa attachment straps . Size 55 height cm and 35 cm width
